June Church Conference Minutes
First Baptist Church Diboll, Texas


June 15, 2008

First Baptist Church of Diboll, Texas met in regular scheduled Business Meeting on Sunday evening, June 15, 2008.


Gary Fannon called the meeting to order.

 

Brenda Jones made the motion to accept the minutes as printed and Marty Harris seconded the motion.  The motion carried.


Average Sunday School attendance for April was 116.

 

Amanda Farley made the motion to accept the financial report as printed and Bill Brown seconded the motion.  The motion carried.

 


COMMITTEE REPORTS & RECOMMENDATIONS:


Budget & Finance Committee
 

Charlotte Parish made the recommendation for the Budget & Finance Committee that we transfer$1,395.00 from the Special Building Fund to the Maintenance & Equipment General Fund to pay for painting the inside of the parsonage.  The motion to accept the recommendation was made by Marty Harris and seconded by Earl Carr.  The motion carried.


 

OLD BUSINESS:


There was no old business.


 

NEW BUSINESS:

There was no new business.
 


ADJOURNMENT:


Motion to adjourn was made by Dave Winfrey and seconded by Tom Harris.  The motion carried.  Bill Brown closed with prayer.
